Per CNN, US Intelligence puts Kabul's fall at 72 hours. That's way down from their most recent projection of 90 days.

They seem to miss target a lot lately. Wouldn’t be surprised if it falls before I finish lunch after church tomorrow. This is disgraceful.

If Jalalabad did fall, that puts Kabul surrounded with all roads out controlled by the Taliban. Whoever is left in that Embassy will won't be able to drive to the airport, the helicopters will have to come to them.

Well, considering he ignored that May 1 deadline, seems he didn't really GAF about that little deal.
Or to mention, Biden and Company have made it a point to undo anything associated with Trump. If they did not like the deal, Biden could have changed it.

At this point Kabul itself doesn't really matter. The Embassy is all that matters (strictly speaking to US interests), we should have some defenses left there.
