The polls and democrats do this every election in Texas . The act like the democrat is doing good them Election Day comes and the republican wins big.

Yes.
The Paxton hate is on a different level than even Cruz but Beto was a better candidate than talarico.
You have taken a shoe in with a conservative voting record by CPAC and heritage foundation and made it a squeaker and taken money away from Georgia Michigan etc.

Not seeing it here on the streets but alright.
I have seen brothers absolutely brutalizing Talarico's queer arse.

Mind boggling how anyone who isn't a lefty with their head up their arse could support this guy.
Also, Texas needs to solve their muslim problem. No statewide election should be this close in the lonestar state.

I said it during the primary. You had an incumbent republican that only maga hated and replaced him with a scum bag that only maga likes.
The majority of the state couldn’t even name who our second senator is. Ted Cruz did a great job running interference by being in the spot light. JC probably sleep walks to another win like he has the past.
It’s perfect situation for moderates and less trumpy republicans to stay home or throw a vote to democrats. There really isn’t anything at stake, it’s not like the senate does anything anymore. Sure Trump becomes a lame duck but he pretty much already is. Ultimately state policy wise a dem senator is mostly meaningless besides maybe tossing some fed money into the inner cities vs burbs.
If republicans primary voters wanted to lock up the seat, they should have voted for jasmine in the dem primary.

People on this board will downvote because no one wants to believe this, but I think those numbers are accurate.
I was visiting family in Fort Worth a few weeks ago and I heard what was clearly a political ad. The message was great, and not at all sounded liberal, progressive, or left. It honestly sounded like a 'Merica kind of Republican ad.
And then I heard Talarico and I was like WTF.
I think they realize that they've secured the liberal vote and are going directly after independents and it's working.
I'm not trying to guess the outcome, but if you guys in Texas aren't paying attention and rallying your people, you might start now.

That taxes ad is very good. People are kidding themselves if they don’t think it’ll be close.

Paxton seems like a scumbag from the outside looking in.
What’s his image inside Texas?

Again I hate to break it to you but independents don’t vote in mass, they’re the one group to not vote and discuss politics. They’re independents because they dislike Trump but don’t want to be labeled as liberals

That's odd. Texas is still a red state, right?
I take it Paxton did not bend the knee to our greatest ally, but Talarico did?

yeah we saw the same polls that Beta Beto was going to beat Cruz
There were polls that had Beto ahead by 3+ points?

A 2018 Reuters/Ipsos poll had Beta ahead by two points, but not three. Not. Three. We're doomed!!
