My point is they enjoy the protections of a citizen. They aren't property.

If people have the right to kill their own children, where do you want to draw the line? We are suppose to be a civilized society. Most people would kill just about anyone before they would harm their own child. Make murder legal? Is that really what they are fighting for? Explain it like you are talking to your child.
