Look, the only play these people have is lawfare. They want to completely upend the constitution but don’t want to put in the work. So the easiest end around is to install a bunch of people who want to do away with the constitution and make rulings that counter it.

It's one branch of government trying to dilute the power of another. And from a long term perspective, this just gives precedent that when it's not in your favor, dilute it more. 20 years from now, what if we still end up with a majority conservative court....do they expand to 20 judges. Why stop there...100 judges. Any time it's not in your favor, dilute it more!

It wouldn't be the first time they threatened this shite. The whole reason why we have federal agencies doing the actual governing through regulation vs congress passing actual laws is thanks to that tyrant threatening to pack the courts to jam through his new deal agenda.
