But Trump is not just a former president -- he is the first in modern history to have run for president again -- and he has been the focus of several prosecutions and controversies (understatement intentional).

There will be a ton of cover their assing the next few weeks as the investigation finds it’s a lack of manpower due to the Biden administration giving Trump bare bones protection.

So, thinking on this more. There are a few levels of assumptions that have to be made but the pathway seems plausible.
Let’s say someone has tabs on the shooter. He’s in some kind of radicalized discord or whatever with a govt agent.
Agent reports him as a viable threat and this goes up the chain. “Someone” knows Jill Biden having her event will pull from Trumps detail, possibly forcing outsourcing of sniper coverage which would result in the slower ROE.
Is this crazy? Too many levels of assumptions?
