I mean is this just him saying this and grandstanding, or is he actually trying to enact rules related to the “public health crisis”?

If the latter then 3-4 days before Chevron is decided is a bold choice I guess.

I'm thinking funding for a wall to help repel foreign intruders and an attempt to strip citizens of a constitutional right are two different things

Proving his point lol

Any side can use this spin to justify the expansion of government. That's why the loose rules/terminology is bad.

Your partisanship is irrelevant to the actual conversation (and just proves his point)

Doesn’t matter they what they want the SCOTSU ruled on the in the 90s when the Arkansas Mafia tried to use it to circumvent the 2nd amendment.

Don’t remember the specifics but iirc the ruling was used in the RvW decision from what I’ve heard.

Are we still pretending the 99.999% of law abiding gun owners are responsible for inner city shootings?

If he had any common sense, he would realize how dumb it was.

The Fed has a duty to control the border, and they have a constitutional requirement to keep their hands off firearms.

I'll let you figure out why his statement was dumb.

The prosecutorial misconduct of the justice system not enforcing laws on crime is the real issue here.

Too busy with lawfaring efforts I suppose.

You would think that a person directly affected by this would have stopping drunk driving as a major cause.

Took my gun to the range this week... It only shot a paper target.. Talk about disappointed. Now it's sleeping in the gun safe being lazy.. Not shooting anything... I got the laziest guns on the planet.
