That's not the point

Some basic info should be included so we don't have to click on the link at all

Sounds like bullshite and only possible if it’s based purely on monetary amounts but that even seems like bullshite so without corroborating data I smell bullshite.

No link, but I just Googled it.
1. Cali
2. Texas
3. Florida

For highest % of people on food stamps:
1. New Mexico
2. Hawaii

Did anyone really think a state like South Dakota or Rhode Island would "suck up" as much food stamp money as, say, New York? Ridiculous.

I answered my question. Texas is among the top receivers of SNAP benefits. I'll give you a half assed upvote on your clever quippy comment.

Post quality: non-existent

There are approximately 40.8M SNAP recipients. Of those, the 4 with the largest percentages of SNAP recipients are:

California - 11.24%
Texas - 9.03%
Florida - 7.47%
New York - 7.46%

Total: 35.2% and that's two conservative states and two liberal states.

Myth:

OP's post is Twitter ragebait
but your percentages are too low. Florida should be at 13%... about 3 million people on EBT in a state with 23 million

What you're talking about is the percentage of Florida's total citizenry which are on SNAP, that's different than what the OP's claim was about. The OP's claim was that of the nationwide total of SNAP recipients, 47% were in 4 liberal states.

Of the nationwide total of ~40.8M SNAP recipients, Florida's ~3M makes up 7.47%.

A short search on line and I see that In fiscal year 2023 47% went to four states. Those four states were the largest states, California, New York, Texas, and Florida.

Florida and Texas are liberal?

That works on desktop, not phones or tablets. Mobile devices require you to hold the link which opens the details in a pop-up, so it's the same effort and annoyance of clicking on the link to begin with.

Nah. Pretty much everyone can do that but you know, you've been around a long time, it's a general rule not to post blind links. Is it an official rule?
