Who was the poster who predicted this a couple days ago based on Roberts history of throwing crumbs one way before a landmark decision the opposite way? That was prescient AF.

Biden is on radio talking about this right now, sorry I don't have a link but it's on something called 1010 WINS on Audicy AP. He says this is wrong and admissions of minorities already does not keep qualified whites out of schools. Clown says admitting based on race never happens.

Great day for America.
I like how Thomas positions himself as a man that has everyone’s best interest at Heart vs color.
There are gonna be some ate up folks and it’s glorious.

So now our higher education institutions can be completely flooded with rich Asian kids that go back to Asia post graduation. Fantastic
Much better than an undeserving American kid

i'm sure jesse jackson is happy now considering he was asked once, "when should affirmative action end" and he responded, "whenever we get a black president".

There is nothing stopping colleges from using American Citizenship as a basis for admissions or scholarships as far as I know.

The Radical Left wanted discrimination to continue.

Interesting that the Radical Left is so upset while the great majority of the U.S. agrees with the opinion. That is the way it should be ... that the Radical Left is once again in the minority.

Please explain how this ruling prevents an institution from giving precedence to US citizens?

Hasn't SCOTUS handed down very similar rulings multiple times in the last thirty years only to see them ignored?

Needs to be rejected EVERYWHERE

Why just in higher education? If affirmative action is Unconstitutional, isn't it unconstitutional in all things?
Something has to be the first domino.
I can only imagine other cases using this as a precedent.

There aren’t enough qualified candidates to meet the self imposed university quotas, so they end up choosing applicants who can’t hanfle the work load, and drop out at higher rates because of this. This ruling may actually increase graduation rates for minorities, because they’ll go to schools that better fit their abilities.
