Sundance from CTH has been pushing a huge incoming food supply chain shortage pretty hard

That's all his twitter feed has been about the past couple of weeks, that we are just a couple weeks away from a huge grocery supply chain shortage. He is predicting late January as when shite hits the fan.
Apparently Sundance used to work for Publix in some kind of capacity so I guess he may know a thing or two about this, he goes into a lot of detail on how the supply chain works for grocery items on his Twitter and on blog posts so I will trust him.
Also he just posted a twitter thread about how the government wants this so that people clamor for government intervention to solve the problem, which opens the door to rationing and the government forcing you to "comply or die" to obtain food: LINK
Thoughts?

Noticed the cereal aisle was pretty bare yesterday. That’s all I got.

If the government is the solution to the problem, someone asked the wrong question!

People not working within the supply chain is going to cause shortages.

Meh. Been hearing this for 1.5 years.

He would know. Pretty sure he’s a stocker in a grocery store.

Theyve been fear mongering this since March 2020

Was in HEB a few days ago, there were more Chinese and Mexicans than actual product on the shelves. Never been to a grocery store that didn't have blueberry pop tarts.

Subtle "I have thousands of acres of land" brag. LOL

I know little about the background of Sundance or the validity of his predictions but this simple graph is as accurate a representation of the ongoing crisis as any out there:

As a regular Publix shopper, I’ll paraphrase Willam F.Buckley: I would rather be governed by the broom sweeping brigade of my local Publix than any clown in the Federal Government.

Again, I’m no special pleader for Sundance but I don’t think it is that far-off-the-wall to suggest that this new era of perpetual economic lockdowns is causing supply chains issues:

What does this mean?

Large food companies have already announced 20% price increases mid-January. But while there are shortages seems there isn’t anything at a crisis level. Seems like to get to that point there would have to be some sort of additional artificial disruption (government induced, directly or indirectly) to reach crisis level. It I could see it happening with the fools that are running the show currently.

They're not going to allow profits to fall. They will use the supply chain excuse to raise costs. More profit with less output solves their employee issues. Things will still be available for a price.
ETA-I don't think it would be a bad financial move to stock up on non-perishable food items you'd use anyway and personal hygiene products.

You all act like the things you see in stores get their by some sort of impossible to derail magic.
And, if it were that easy to just have an "excuse" to raise prices, why would prices EVER be lower? None of you seem to have any idea how pricing works. It's truly astonishing.

Remember when in 2012 Obama had to cheat to win? He ordered the U.N. to come and monitor our elections under the guise of people are racists and will stop people of color from voting?
The U.N. filed a report that you used to be able to find online. It essentially said we were naive having NO VOTER ID laws and are so trusting; and that Mandela promoted VOTER ID.
In the same vein is the Soviet & Chinese diplomats seeing our grocery stores many years ago flipping out and the amount of choices of different foods.
We are so spoiled rotten, Publix and Walmarts & we have so many grocery stores always overly stocked; that a shortage wouldn't be noticed for a while.
No one is 100% that Sundance was a Publix district Manager. Mark Levin years ago, when he was a full neocon attacked Sundance and claimed this. LINK
It was in the era when the Cruz's, Levin's, hated Trump because he wasn't like them exactly. He wasn't a neo con.
No matter who Sundance is, they have some insider ties. I always suspected it was Jared Kuschner funded.
