Come on, guy.
Is there anyone who would notice something different going wrong in the area?
Would anyone notice? Much less care?

but acting like there is "no excuse" for the labs existence is just asinine.
No, it's not. They can conduct this research in another country through partnerships. It happens all the time. We are not reinventing the wheel here.

No. There are many on this board who entertain homicidal, or even genocidal fantasies.

Yea, awesome point Team America. We’ll just tell nations they cannot manage their own national health systems.
You don’t have a clue how the world works.

Good lord you guys are some low-information MFers.
This is NOT a WHO lab.

It is there because there is little to no regulation and the politicians can be bought off easily.

So regulating dangerous biological research means we are preventing countries from managing their own health systems? LoL k. I wonder if your views are consistent when it comes to energy development? Should Seria be given the green light to produce high grade uranium?

Idiot liberals hugged those trees, lost sleep over plastic straws and want a 6ft human barrier, but they can play with transhumanism, gene editing and drop BL4 labs all over the world like it's a Starbucks franchise.

Who is going to regulate this exactly? I’m pretty sure you guys would lose your fricking minds if the WHO was involved.
Besides, this lab wasn’t even dealing with bio weapons. The pathogens listed in the article are diseases that are very much still a part of life in that part of the world.

Serbia already has the right to utilize nuclear energy. They choose not to. Nothing whatsoever beyond technical knowledge, availability of uranium ore, and money prevents them from doing it if they chose to start investing in nuclear power and wanted a self-sustaining supply.
And Sorry, no, enriching uranium to weapon levels is not analogous to a nation that has not eradicated measles and polio studying measles and polio.

What are you, 12
Says the guy who thinks there is some entity that should prevent nation states from studying diseases that directly impact them.

There are lots of different types of bio labs, for example when you visit the doctor and have blood drawn
Your position of O-T bloodlust superstar has left you with brain syphilis related disease apparently.
There is always a price to pay for being a profound moron.
Your first clue should arise with Victoria Nuland's evil color war revolution presence - AGAIN - where humanity suffers with agony and death from her actions and lies.

WHO team in Wuhan says "extremely unlikely" COVID-19 came from a lab….
….With just days left in their month-long visit to Wuhan, the World Health Organization's team of COVID-19 experts co-hosted their first press conference on Tuesday to share some key findings from the hunt for the coronavirus' origin. The biggest takeaway from the nearly three-hour event was that the scientists believe it's "extremely unlikely" a lab-related accident was the source of the pandemic, and all current evidence "continues to point to a natural reservoir.”
Pentagon gave millions to EcoHealth Alliance for weapons research program…
….The Defense Department doled out millions of dollars to the same nonprofit that funneled federal grant money to the Wuhan Institute of Virology for bat coronavirus research — with most of the Pentagon money going toward murky research on countering biological weapons.
New York City-based EcoHealth Alliance has already come under scrutiny for redirecting funds from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) to the Chinese lab, from where many believe COVID-19 leaked to set off the worst pandemic in a century.
But federal spending data shows that EcoHealth has a long and profitable relationship with the Pentagon, receiving $41.91 million in awards since fiscal year 2008. That’s more than three times the next-largest amount awarded to it by any other agency over the same period…
Evidence mounts Wuhan lab spawned COVID-19 outbreak, leak occurred earlier than first suspected….
….Two leaks from Chinese labs in fall 2019 are the most likely sources of the coronavirus’ spread among humans, a Senate report concluded after an 18-month investigation into how the COVID-19 pandemic began — a thorny question that has stumped two administrations and fueled rancor between Washington and Beijing.
