No thanks.
What's the point of posting on a message board if not to share your thoughts?

I share my thoughts plenty.
You're just not entitled to every thought of mine at your whim. I get why that doesn't sit well with you, but you'll get over it.

So they spent all that money to learn what every parent knows intuitively.
Take away your two year olds toy and he will pitch a fit.
No shite Sherlock.

Yes. Your unwillingness here suggests you have a particular stance but comments made so far have derailed it and you're not sure how to properly defend it.

Child like mentality for those who vote for Progressives. They are referred to by their leaders as useful idiots for a reason.

When people are working to put food on the table, they ain't got time for no criminal nonsense

This is obviously wrong.

Well, it is one of those things where you provide something long enough to create dependency - then remove it and blame the ‘reaction’ on its lack.
If I gave you painkillers until you became addicted and then stopped - my hypothesis can be “providing painkillers keeps people from getting shakes, jitters, pain, and aggression “

Your use Of “their entire lives” is disingenuous. Children who received benefits stopped receiving benefits at 18. It’s not like they received welfare benefits for 40 years then stopped. Children under 16 aren’t legally able to work, anyway.
What a dumb point.

Why don't you worry about your own wife's boyfriend

..says the person who started the OP saying welfare decreases crime.
2 pages in and she doesn’t know what she’s arguing.

No thanks. There's tons of published scientific studies on the subject, though.

So...pay them to not be criminals instead of requiring them to get a job or go to jail for crime.

Who the hell is scared to voice their beliefs on an anonymous message board? It's like a grade schooler claiming he knows the answer but he's not going to tell you.

This is what welfare does, 4Karens:
3 year old is being taught how to be a thug by his mom and siblings.

if that were true, why do we still have people committing crimes worthy of death sentences? The death penalty existed since our country was colonized.
It’s not swift enough, as I stated.

They didn’t choose that terrible existence.
Obviously true. You know, many slaveowners were "born" to the condition as well. Certainly, it's true that, as a class, they had more power to engage in the commercial activity of trading human beings (which was compounding one evil with another), many were cruel to a fault (although, frankly, there was no "good" to it, only a spectrum of evil), etc., but all of this just reinforces just how complicated "that peculiar institution" was within the broader American tapestry.
Today, the drift is towards it defining (i.e. it is the ONLY important feature) the American experience. It doesn't and it shouldn't.

And it is not painful enough.
