I need proof to dismiss the Noah's Ark story as fantasy?
Until this study, it was fantasy that we came from one couple.
So I ask again... Are you saying this VERY MASSIVE Study is lying, wrong?

Don't have to ? it's laughable
Substitute sarcasm in place of a valid argument because you can't have it both ways.... typical DemoRat play.

The Scientists stated the study proves we came from one couple. Period. Nothing more.. nothing less. The Scientists stated that 90% of all animals each come from one couple each. Nothing more, Nothing less.

PERIOD.
Wrong.
Mitochondrial DNA is only passed on through female lines. The authors even say their observations could also be indicative of a small "founding population of thousands that was stable for tens of thousands of years”
Sorry. More fake news from you.

Mitochondrial DNA studies aren't new and are great evidence for the theory of evolution
Oh come on. I'm not going to quote Genesis at you, or any of the other creation myths.
But if you follow this sort of thing, you ought to know darn well there are a whole lot of arguments that haven't been settled with the Theory of Evolution.
Some we just don't know about, like how likely is it for a self-assembling molecule to arise. As I said this is not settled. Some pretty heavy hitters have estimated this as anywhere from likely to it probably won't happen in the whole history of the universe.
Then we have the other arguments, which you should be well acquainted with. None of them settled.
We know we can selectively breed animals like dogs (and yeah, we could do it with people - if we knew what we wanted).
But Darwinism as pitched by the man himself? A whole lot remains to be puzzled out about that.

You linked the Mirror citing a Daily Mail report. This is worse than if Bleacher Report citing ATPB as a factual article lol.

No, I'm not wrong. The study stated that 90% came from one couple. The Mitochondrial DNA isn't at issue here. We know it's passed on via the Female.
Why are you trying to shift the subject to something not being talked about nor refuted?
I will ask once again... Are you saying the study is false? That it is wrong? That they are lying?

Massive study? It was a survey of a genetic database

I love the "attack the source" argument when a person can not refute the study. The study is linked. I also linked to NY Post.

It is simply impossible to know that it was one couple when you can only see the female line
I'm saying that you and the author are misrepresenting the researchers work.

So you linked 3 tabloids? Congrats, it must be true then.

The researchers studied the DNA of five million animals, including humans, to come to their conclusions.
So you can't refute the data. So now attack the study?
Interesting.

Science we can believe in. I think its called "Faith".

I think that sentence was from the professional journalist writing the article not the researchers.

And pretty much all of the unsettled debates have to do with the mechanisms of gene transfer or other mechanisms of evolution.
No one is debating evolution by natural selection/relative fitness.

I'm attacking your misrepresentation of the study.. E.g. you calling it "massive"
But keep on swinging the fake news bat it's kind of what you are known for
