Student loans as a carrot

I'm against student loans forgiveness.
But, what if Dems just use as a perpetual carrot?
Just dangle it to get idiots to turn out every 2-4 years.
Never do anything.
Just let them think it'll happen in exchange for votes.
Just like weed.

I’m against student loan forgiveness without even attempting to fix the underlying problem: how states used “cheap” federal loans to cut back on their funding on universities to fund other things.

The pause has been a blessing for me.... I’m paying down quicker all to principal and no interest....freedom will come sooner. If they want to give me money for forgiveness, I won’t refuse

I don't agree with student loan payoff, but it better go to the debt of credits and or school fees. Id really prefer this would only apply to graduates only.
I joined the military and got paid to go. Its ridiculous these kids rack up so much debt and most of it isn't towards school.

Because these are federal loans only. If half your loan is through a private loan company, you are out of luck on that portion.
I think they should do this like they do the stimulus: if you don't have student loans, you should get a tax credit.

There's no excuse for the Dems now. They control everything; no reason not to provide student loan forgiveness. Unless they are liars.
