What does my intelligence have to with anything? I wish I believed in God.

Speaking of smarter people, I could use some help trying justify aspect ratio for a through thickness flaw in an aluminum, 90,000 gallon, liquid hydrogen vessel to demonstrate a leak-before-break failure mode.

Uh Huh.. the Chinese. 5k of "culture" and "knowledge" and they still eat food using 2 sticks...got a bowl of soup? you have to pick up the bowl and dump it in your mouth. The white boy came up with forks and knives and spoons. Not that long ago, another white boy took it to the next level and gave us the spork. Did the "literate" Chinese even notice these advancements? NO.. they still eat with sticks and dump soup into their mouths. Them baws are slooow.

Yes 3. You’re correct. So you don’t think leaving it out of mark is contradicting?

2. The answer is 2.

Aside from the Gospels and epistles which were all written by the end of the first century, there is the Didiache, the works of Polycarp, Ireneus, Melito, Origen, Clement of Rome, Clement of Alexandria, and the Epistle of Barnabas.

It isn't even questionable that divinity of Jesus was a doctrine of the Church from its very beginning.

It's sad to think after all that he accomplished on earth that he neglected the one thing that matters: trust in Jesus Christ's atoning work on the cross. Unless he had a deathbed conversion (doubtful), he's begun his eternity of punishment for his rebellion against almighty God.

What's sad are posts like this.

I clearly think you're delusional, but what kind of a complete a-hole believes such bullshite, and then has the gall to actually type it out in public?

What's worse...clearly a ton of other idiots feel the same way.

And people wonder why some of us speak out against your beliefs even though we don't believe them...

Nothing quite says "I'm a fricking retard" like "I know you are, but what am I"?

I'd love for the answer to be 2. Unfortunately my reviewers believe the answer to be 6. I think that's a misinterpretation of conservatism in another section of the Code though.

There is only god.

Jesus saving you is just scare tactics. You are already ok. No saving required.
You are not under Adam sin. It's a story.

Are you sure you know what a contradiction is? Point me to anything in Mark that says Mary was not a virgin when Christ was born and you have a contradiction. Not mentioning san event at all is not.

He said that Jesus was not presented as a miracle worker or Divine until hundreds of years after the fact. That is 100% incorrect. There are literally thousands of surviving first and second century writings which attest to the divinity of Christ.

Don't waste your time, they are haters of GOD. All you can do is pray for them, they are not spiritually receptive right now. They aren't unique in this fact, it's been happening for thousands of years

quote:

11 He replied, “Because the knowledge of the secrets of the kingdom of heaven has been given to you, but not to them. 12 Whoever has will be given more, and they will have an abundance. Whoever does not have, even what they have will be taken from them. 13 This is why I speak to them in parables: “Though seeing, they do not see; though hearing, they do not hear or understand.

I'd say that there is a 99% chance you are lying. I'd bet you are proud that you don't believe in God.

spread of Christianity, in which Jesus wasn’t even recognized as a miracle worker or having any divinity until hundreds of year after his death, was due more to the innate truth of the Bible or the fact that the emperor of Constantine made it the official religion of the Roman Empire?

So you tell me, if Christianity wasn't even recognized, why would a Roman emperor convert? Strange. With all of the other well established religions at the time, why this one? Why this Jesus?

quote:

Also the Chinese were much more literate.

And even after all of those years, under atheistic Communism for most, Protestant Christianity is becoming one of the largest religions in China. How can all of these Chinese believe in this Jesus?

quote:

Since 1979, the religious policy has been limited tolerance with strict regulation and tight control. During this period, the average compound annual growth rate of the number of Protestant Christians is more than 10 percent (from 3 million in 1980 to 58 million in 2010). If China experiences no major social upheavals and keeps at its current pace of steady economic growth and social change, and restrictions on religious affairs do not increase, the average annual growth rate is likely to stay at around 10 percent. In this case, the number of Protestant Christians in China could reach 171 million by 2021 and 255 million by 2025. The Pew Research Center’s Report of Global Christianity reports that in 2010 in the United States there were 160 million Protestants and 247 million Christians overall (including Protestants, Catholics, Eastern Orthodox Christians, and others). Recent studies have reported that the proportion of Christians in the U.S. population has been undergoing a slow downward drift in recent years. Assuming that the number of Christians in the U.S. stays the same over the next several decades, it is possible that China could become the largest Protestant country by 2021 and the largest Christian country by 2025.

LINK

Now at the behest of this article, Islam is the fastest growing religion in China and some suggest it could surpass Christianity by 2050.

Once again, you tell me, if being atheist is the way to go, and China has been literate for so long, why the need for the belief in the God/man named Jesus?

Why are atheists so angry all the time?? They always come off as bitter and disappointed about something, and it's "something" at their core. Then, when pointed out, they run to denial of it's existence.
Why is that?
