Fair enough, you seem to be getting more upset than debating. I know what a contradiction is, and it wasn’t in my original issue with the inconsistency.

And I'm completely fine with that, not that it matters.

My concern is raised when people tell me that I need to believe as they do. Or even worse, when they wish to dictate how I live my life based on their beliefs. None of us knows that we are absolutely correct, and I find it extremely arrogant for anyone to pretend that they do.

They do too know they are correct. The bible tells them so.

You are one hateful sob. I never understood how atheists get so worked up over something they say isn't real. That would be like me getting bent out of shape over the belief in Santa Clause.

Why do people keep saying this as if it makes sense? Anyone that can't think of a situation in which they would speak out against a belief system in which they themselves did not believe is simply not trying very hard, or are so blinded by their own belief so as to think it impossible anyone else could not believe it too.

Case in point...

I'm not upset at all. You just keep shifting goal posts. So we are back to them being inconsistent? Again, the answer to that is each gospel was written with a particular purpose and to a particular audience. The virgin birth was not critical to Mark and John's purpose.

I'm a 43 year old married guy with a son who goes to Catholic school under the church where our ceremony took place.

Not a single one of our family friends would even guess I didn't believe, nor would they hold my character under question at all. I give to my family and community more than anyone I know...I'm pretty sure you have no idea who I am or what I'm proud of.

Understood, rookie mistake. The wisest choice on the OT is to always exaggerate.

For example, I am a trillionaire with a 2 foot cock.

Every answer is God, every reason is God, all inspiration is God.

Must be nice to have it all wrapped up in a perfect package. I envy the God gene people.

This makes no sense. No one is upset that atheists exist and speak about their disbelief...the point made was how that is expressed. It's simply noted that the mode of communication is always dripping with anger and condescension. Then, it's just a natural step to wonder why something that is not believed in can rile up such anger. To many, it may seem like there is more going on than simply "not believing"

Actually it's the exact opposite of that, but thanks for playing

You people are showing (ignorance) why Jesus said some of the things he did.

Oh geez, you found the close minded person of no worth. You get judgmental merit badge and the one that outs those who are unobservant.
