Never watched his late night CBS show and from everything I’ve ever heard or read, it doesn’t sound like I missed out on anything.

I watched Colbert back when he had the Comedy Central show and it was pretty funny during the Bush years. This time around from the get-go it was horrible. The media probably won't say it but his show was close to being cancelled before Donald Trump was elected in 2016 and his nonstop coverage of Trump kept his show going for years and years.

I have friends here from Minnesota and Wisconsin who are that, exactly. I generally avoid political conversations with them.

When I see guys like that my mind goes to the kids I knew that were Mommy's Boys. "You're wrong about my little Stephen. He would never do anything bad. He's the perfect little boy. How can you say He's acting up, I think he's adorable. "

I like thinking about what Colbert thinks about Trump's tenure outlasting his own.

I hope he thinks about that at night before he goes to sleep.

It’s reason for celebration when a propaganda outlet goes quiet.

But now he's going to write the next Lord of the Rings movie.

Yes, really.

Unreal. Who could possibly be looking forward to that outcome?

He was a paid propagandist. He was never there to maximize ratings. His advertisers must have found a better use of their “marketing” money.

Tucker?

He's always been a huge pussy along with his lover, stewart.

But at least Stewart (and Colbert as a reporter) was funny during the heyday of the daily show

He was only losing $20 million a year on the show.

I'm mostly sad that he's strayed so far away from his Catholic roots while always talking about being Catholic. He has done a huge disservice to how Americans view the Catholic Church. I sincerely hope he finds his way back to Christ.

You know damn good and well that I am referring to him being canned while Trump remains in office. Don't be a patronizing, pedantic equivocating dooshnozzle.
