They have gone back where they came from... they will not be a force in politics going forward. They never liked Republicans, for the most part, they never liked anybody... and they report they feel let down by Trump, who hasn't done anything for them. This also happened with African American voters after Obama in 2016, the same feeling, and it helped torpedo Hillary... Trump has reinvigorated them by this point, though, to fight against him.

Louisiana Senate races
2020 Cassidy got 1,238,908 votes
2024 Kennedy got 851,568 votes

GOP had been losing votes in Louisiana
Old people die. People I know over 70 seem to be dropping like flies...
And Louisiana is having a big problem retaining young college graduates, who are running off to TX and Atlanta, mostly, the minute they graduate for jobs and some exotic thing called "a future."
Louisiana's population growth (what little there is... we have more people leaving than coming in, and more people dying than being born) is coming mainly from Latinos and international immigrants (mostly from Central America).

I've watched democrats keep finding votes in democrats areas to prevent Republicans from winning local and state elections.
Do you have an argument that doesn't involve broad generalizations or cherry picking of data?
