The Russian military has been engaged in a conflict that has become more and more like the Western Front of the First World War with each passing year. Their daily gains have more or less been measured in meters since the spring of 2022. They are starting to show momentum but that's only because they have ground down Ukraine's military capabilities by sheer strength in numbers. The population of Russia was roughly 144 million as of 2023. Ukraine's population was 38 million around that same time.
Simple mathematics has begun to turn the war against Zelenskyy and the Ukrainians. Nothing more.

If other NATO nations get directly involved I hope we tell them to pound sand when Russia deems they deserve to be hit.
