I pray they figure out how to practice safe sex soon.
So no one in Louisiana should have children? How would that be good for the state?
The thread is about prenatal care and you just want everyone to avoid pregnancy so no one would require prenatal care?

I have no idea why you think that but ok. Thanks for sharing.

So who is behind the planned ectopic pregnancy? Is it the mother who set it up or did the doctor knowingly do something wrong here for media attention?
Physician removal of an ectopic pregnancy would not be considered an abortion according to an amendment to the law. So this procedure and several others that save a woman’s life are not against the law.

So doctors were consulted. Awesome.

I also can’t find evidence that legislators didn’t consult me, drew Brees, or Donald Trump when crafting the law. Should we assume legislators did consult the aforementioned people since I can’t prove they were not consulted?
You can assume whatever TF you want. Doesn't make it reasonable or true, though.

They spoke to the bill authors - Louisiana Right to Life, the anti-abortion lobby. Those lobbyists consulted anti-abortion doctors in crafting the law.
Great, so 2chubby is incorrect (shocking, I know). Doctors were consulted.

As a sign of how deranged you people are, zealots will harm patients to give the appearance of issues arising from the abortion ban. All so they can point to a piece of legislation that probably had no impact on the scenario and go "look what you made us do!"
It's the same with Florida librarians shutting down libraries and cancelling reading programs because the state said you couldn't show 7 year olds books with blowjobs in them.
Sick, regressive freaks.

Has never happened and won't. The doctors are far left lunatics and are doing this crap on purpose to try to push their agenda
Leftists have no compunction about lying, especially if it advances their cause.
I can totally believe that leftist doctors knew a patient wanted an abortion and so they first acted by puncturing the membrane. Whoops! What to do now??
Ethical doctors know they can properly care for a patient by performing an abortion if necessary for the safety of the mother. They just need to get other medical doctors to concur in writing. A common practice for other procedures to get insurance companies to pay.

What was that lie they told about some 14 year old needing an abortion and had to travel 3 states away and maybe even claimed she died?
I cant keep their lunacy straight. Indiana involved maybe.

I think you are looking at this wrong. Just like you believe you are virtuous for supporting government's endless overspending of social programs/welfare, you should consider this you being virtuous for saving the lives of babies who would otherwise be murdered.

You mean like when my employer threatened to fire me if I didn’t take multiple Covid vaccines as ordered by the government? Were you spouting the same bullshite rhetoric then?

The board despises women? Or you just have a soy-inspired White Knight complex?

No, its just ridiculous and unreasonable to start from the position that they didn't consult healthcare professionals.
I know everyone on social media is LGBTQ and pro-abortion healthcare workers, but there are lots of prolife healthcare workers that can be consulted for such legislation.

bullshite.
Wednesday and Lighting are two of the most respected members of the board.
They are intelligent, honest and don't let their emotions compel them to say stupid things and they aren't dishonest about their Political leanings.
4Cubbies is the opposite.

Well you start off good, honest, and factual:
Then you start straying into fantasy land:
Then you jump feet first into the badlands where dishonest fallacy stalks the imaginary land!
If! If, the woman suddenly finds herself in a “time-sensitive decisions about the health of the pregnant mother ”, she needs to be immediately taken to the nearest hospital’s ER where there are hundreds of physicians and the legal department works 24/7/365!!!!
And if it’s not “time sensitive” then one of the thousands of competent Louisiana doctors can be consulted.
You can pee on my leg. You can even tell me it’s raining. But you can’t expect me to believe your BS!
And this my friend is Grade A Certified BS!

Louisiana law requires the attending physician to get another physician to agree that abortion care is necessary, confirm that the pregnancy is a non-viable pregnancy, and confirm that continuing to carry the fetus to term will harm the mother's life

prior to even thinking about the other hoops that may restrict an abortion procedure from happening.

Now, think of that within the context of being an OB/GYN and having to make time-sensitive decisions about the health of the pregnant mother (good luck with her near ruptured uterus, internal bleeding, preeclampsia, etc.), preservation of your medical license, having to run that through the hospital's legal department so that they don't get sued and you don't get prosecuted, and also having to get another OB/GYN to co-sign that what you are doing isn't abortion and applies to the exceptions within the law.

So, that's why there have been no malpractice suits. It's not because doctors are withholding proper medical care. It's because the proper medical care that should be provided by the doctors (according to state law) isn't available.
And this my friend is Grade A Certified BS!
