WOW

quote:

The St. Louis couple caught on video brandishing guns in the front yard of their home while protesters passed through their private neighborhood are being investigated by local law enforcement.

Mark McCloskey, the 63-year-old homeowner seen in the now-viral video holding a black rifle, said in a recent interview he, his wife and his home were threatened by a fringe group that accompanied protesters marching to the mayor's nearby home.

They misspelled "broke down their gates, destroyed their property and trespassed".

I mean, it was inevitable. Looks like they’ll be able to afford some good attorneys though. It’s up to us to support each other and not kneel to activist judges who will attempt to criminalize our constitutional right to defend our property and families.

As a gun totin' lover of 2A

You can't swing a pistol around with your finger on the trigger at people 25-30 yards from you and not expect repercussions, no matter if they tore down your gate or not

I am alarmed at the events that occurred over the weekend, where peaceful protesters were met by guns and a violent assault,” Gardner said. “We must protect the right to peacefully protest, and any attempt to chill it through intimidation or threat of deadly force will not be tolerated.”

Let this be a lesson to all of you. If you are 1000% within your rights you will be persecuted by an overzealous DA and it will cost you thousands of dollars. The legal system is against you so if you think of crossing that line, be sure you're willing to go the distance.

This is unbelievable

These two are both rich lawyers. They will game the system to its fullest and will not do time. At worst, they might have to put out a gay apology.

By the way, they are also BLM-supporting civil rights attorneys who are representing some victim of police violence. Amazing to see lefties turn during the brief moment they were threatened.

So, someone standing on your property in a threatening manner and you don't think you can point a firearm at them, especially given the current situation in this country?

GTFO...

Wait this couple never left their property, had registered weapons, protected their own home, never pointed the weapons directly at the persons (that I noticed) and was faced with threats by trespassers...yet they are being investigated?

Both are attorneys, so they should have a decent idea of how to handle things for the moment.

If it actually gets to trial, they can handle good attorneys.

Im 100% in support of the home owners here. Because of the current goings on, I think there is justifiable reason for them to have been concerned about their own safety.

However; the lady having her finger on the trigger is very poor gun safety. Based on how she held it, im willing to believe her gun wasnt loaded.

She looked like it was her first time holding a gun, but assuming its loaded that was not safely handled.

And yet it is not against the law.

These "protestors" broke into private property... The street they were standing in was private property... At the least they were trespassing, which gets your arse shot in many locales across this country...

They already put out an apology.

These people have the know how and resources to protect themselves. The average person doesn't have that luxury. In order to protect yourself from activist politicians you basically have to be rich.

“Peaceful protesters”

“A violent assault”

I wouldn’t cry a tear if Kim Gardner dropped dead of a heart attack.
