Everyone on all sides will be angry. Mostly, as some others have pointed out, because everyone involved, the StG organizers, the city-parish, the individual plaintiffs like Broome, the district court, and the circuit court have all fricked the whole situation up so badly.

According to the LSC Homepage, the next tentative decision date is March 22, 2024

If they go against St. George, they set up a strange precedent for elections going forward where the lower vote total for everything can now sue for not liking the result - not that it was counted wrong, just because it was not what they wanted.

Is there a point in the day when we can give up waiting and just wait till May 10th?

This. I'm pretty sure five justices will find a way.

You just need 4.

Reminds me of my FIL’s saying… wherever you find four, you’ll surely find a fifth.

Opinions are typically released in the afternoon. If it comes today, likely after 1.

Sorry, I think it will be a 5-2 split.

Today is the tentative release date but if it’s not today, it could be any day between now and the next opinion release date.

I glanced at the other cases argued in January and only one other seemed noteworthy as to import. Sanctity of the jury and quantum as to the brain/consortium of wife and child upon the loss of young husband/father.

Which will lead directly to Baddun rudgeeeeeee getting double dick fricked when the little remaining tax base says adios

It’s not really that complicated. BR government uses the tax base dollars from South BR to fund all the useless programs for the people in NBR. BR voters have finally had enough and voted to incorporate and use those tax dollars to help improve their communities in SBR. I never understood how Broomstick and her cronies could stop something that was voted for by the community. The only argument they have is the loss of tax revenue will have a detrimental impact on the city. OH frickING WELL

Some cases just dropped and St. George wasn't in the batch.

Assuming it won't be released today.
