The web of financial ties could offer a more concrete path toward potential prosecution than the broader and murkier questions of collusion in the 2016 campaign,

Sources described an investigation that has widened to focus on possible financial crimes, some unconnected to the 2016 elections

There it is. There "Russian Collusion" narrative was simply an excuse from the swamp to dig in and find something...anything to oust Trump. Prosecution is the goal. Get there by any means necessary. "Russia" was the ticket in.

well that's generally how political witch hunts operate.

So Trump put out the red line.

Is he going to be a beta and just let the Mueller keep going now that he's looking at Trump's finances?

Or they need to issue subpoenas and get people under oath.

Jesus, man. You are fricking blinded if you can't see the many problems with this. Republican or democrat.

By any means necessary to move your ideology ahead. You are the fricking beta. A beta bitch to be exact!

Doesn't seem like Mueller or his team agrees with your assessment: LINK

The president cannot "obstruct justice." It's literally impossible. He has the power of the pardon -- a pardon that is not judicially reviewable. All he has to do is call Mueller and say "I am pardoning everyone of my associates. Have fun with the investigation" and there's not shite Mueller can do about it.

If Clinton would have said hey Ken Starr don't look into my sex life or I'll fire you then we all would have said he's stupid. No ideology needed.

Obstruction of justice was one of the articles of impeachment against Nixon.

That's faulty logic. It's entirely possible that while investigating election related crimes, they ALSO identified evidence of other crimes. That they are also now looking at crimes unrelated to the election does not exclude anything election related. It's like finding heroin in the home of a suspected murderer.

You are missing the big picture. Which proves you are either blinded or ignorant as to wtf the ramifications are to these actions. Smh.

Now bow to your lord and savior, government.

Pathetic.

Sooo why don't they have an investigation like this for every elected official and member of congress? You know a majority of them have illegal dealings or crimes committed with foreign countries as well.
