seems odd that you asserted fear of a "Christian theocracy" yet are not sure what that is.
You asked what it would look like...I could give you a text book definition of a theocracy but you know that already. So Im just being honest.
Without holding fast to the separation of church and state different Christian sects or any religion could potentionally impose whatever religious beliefs they want. That's why I have a difficult time stating a clear vision. Once those gates are open who knows where it goes.

Well tbh if we banned pornography and legalized prostitution I think we would be a happier and a more prosperous country. Would people rather look on the computer or have Uber deliver their order to the door lol
Your terms are acceptable...lol

MSM? This board was loaded with emotional babies because "Gaetz screwed up" on one side and "Jordan's out because the Uniparty is in control" on the other.
So much drama on here.

He is but thats not a problem per se for me. The issue that I have with him in that regards is his opinion on separation of church and state.
"He referred to the "so-called separation of church and state" and said "the founders wanted to protect the church from an encroaching state, not the other way around."
"If anybody tries to convince you that your biblical beliefs or your religious viewpoint needs to separated from public affairs, you should politely remind them to review their history and you should not back down."

I don't think his position on issues or religious beliefs should disqualify him from office.

Then what is the argument exactly?
If an openly Christian politician is voted in the office. His constituents are going to require him to vote from that same perspective. So by default, he's an acting Christian policies.
This is what every politician does with their respective belief system

It’s time for policymakers to elevate family authority, formation, and cohesion as their top priority and even use government power, including through the tax code, to restore the American family. Today the Left is threatening the tax-exempt status of churches and charities that reject woke progressivism. They will soon turn to Christian schools and clubs with the same totalitarian intent.
Yikes. This is the conservative 2025 playbook? Where are all these snake charmers hiding? Sounds more like Iran than the USA.

Well liked, never been a big time camera whore or attention seeker.
By all accounts he's the guy you want in that role and a Louisiana guy to boot. I couldn't be more glad.

You idiot! Hakeem Jeffries is an election denier himself of the 2016 Presidential Election. Also nominated for speaker. By Democrats.

I think my litmus test is going to be what does he do with Biden's ONE HUNDRED BILLION DOLLAR Foreign Wars That America Isn't Involved In funding request.
Does he:
1.) Ignore it
2.) Request it very broken into three separate request for Ukraine, Israel, and the border
3.) Accept a bill for the full ONE HUNDRED BILLION DOLLARS
