I live in the KC metro so I made a legit attempt to watch some of the FIFA games because KC was hosting several of the teams. I could not take watching a complete game, the flopping and overreacting to any bodily contact was kinda funny at first but after about 20 minutes I was done.

Man I felt the same way about this. I couldn't watch 10 minutes without turning the channel. Somehow my YouTube algorithm got alot of American National Anthem videos of the world cup games. I did notice that the American fans are very patriotic. Everyone stands, removes their hat, places their hand over their heart and sings. I didn't see any black national anthem sung and nobody kneeling on the field. I'm not saying I'm a soccer fan but there is a stark difference to when I last watched an NFL game years ago.
