Trump has been harping about Iran since 1980. There’s been a long list of attacks, either direct or via proxy, by Iran on US interests. Stop listening to the dave smiths of the world.

taking away the single biggest threat to the region eliminates the Israeli narrative of living in fear. if israel continues to be involved in conflicts then they cant play the victim any more

Historically, Iranians that have become US citizens vote Dem about 2:1 versus Republicans. Even the laughable ticket led by Kamala got more Iranian-American votes than Trump, and that at a time the Iranian community was very unhappy with Biden.
