I didn’t realize how ignorant you were until now. You misspelled oil, Sunni/Shia divide, and their hatred of Israel. US meddling is way down the list and not a serious answer
All of which were there and pretty peaceful under Ottoman rule.
Edit to add:
How many regime changes have we done over there? Didn't we come up with the Monroe Doctrine because outside nations were doing the same exact thing in the Americas that we do in the ME?
Honesty brother. TUSA has interests in the ME. We enact policies only for our benefit. You either agree with them and be honest about it or not.

We have many not so great allies.
I do have a funny silver lining. If there is by the grace of God a sudden regime change in Iran I see a major reduction in US Aid. Would pay to see the reaction. Like Trump being elected and showing people's true colors so we too would see how deep Israel is embedded in this country.
Please make this happen lol

It is like some of you ignored Donald's very public redline just like the Iranian regime ignored it. Donald publicly promised that we would save the Iranian people if the regime started killing protesters. The regime then killed tens of thousands of them, and is still killing them today. Donald painted himself into a corner in one tweet. Being that he had already told the world we had "completely obliterated" their nuclear capability, you'd think the nuke angle wouldn't be such an easy sale, but it was. Hook, line, and sinker.

The Founders knew that the Constitutional Republic would only be functional for “a moral and religious people “. Wise, committed to ‘Blind Justice’ and self policing as they believed that ultimate Judgement and Justice would be rendered by God. This Belief alone forged the unity upon which the Nation prospered. NWS many flaws, slavery at the fore, of the which the Founders knew would be addressed in due time as the Founding Documents assured inevitable redress.
When Freedom allows people the option to be “stupid “ and enough of the (pseudo-Democratic) populous become such, then the Constitutional Republic becomes dysfunctional and Authoritarian rule must replace it for the sake of a functioning society. The current political struggle for which Ideology (Capitalist Meritocracy vs. DEI Marxist) becomes the formal Authoritarian State power is where we are. And it is impossible for voting to solve this dilemma as voting IS the problem. And just like over in Iran the true believers will die fighting before they give in to an ideology which they believe to be morally inferior, practically dysfunctional and essentially evil.
This next election will likely be the last unless it is 100% verifiable. That means NO illegal/fraudulent ballots. Which apparently will not happen. And since the Dems believe that ALL people are ‘legal’, then it’s an ‘unmovable object vs. an irresistible force’.
It’s coming.

BS……don’t keep up with Jone’s neighborhood philosophy very well do you?
All those surrounding bases are at risk with the first nuke they roll out and figure out how to minimize the warhead to fit on a rocket. You would continue making excuses. Then the bastards would tell the Norks about the success. Expanding the threat to encompass Japan and more. You would still be sucking your own toes. Thinking you smart, leaning on the fact that The Democrats financed it all. Still sucking on your own toes.

You sound scared. Why are you so scared of Irans imaginary nuclear weapons. You’re not scared to send soldiers to die. You’re not scared of our country slowly dying. You’re only scared about losing your life because you’re a pussy. Sorry our government has cried wolf too many times to be trusted

I’m genuinely trying to remember when Iran directly threatened me, my family or my country.
We go off what the media, politicians and a president says and just have to accept it?
Just frankly sick of having our hand in every damn problem across the globe. The taxpayers always bear the burden.

$800-$900 billion a year. The toys will get played with. These officers have got to have these foreign wars and campaigns so they can get the shiny ribbons on their uniform.
And they keep going back to the well with the same scare tactics and the naive warmongers eat it up.

This is not about Iran as much as it is other pieces in the geopolitical spectrum. My being a pussy has nothing to do with that.

I can't believe you ask the question. Neither Afghanistan nor Iraq have attacked Israel and neither one fund terror groups attacking Israel.
You and the rest of the ignorant need to get it through your head. Iran is the war we needed to fight. Don't let the MIC's Iraq and Afghanistan adventures cloud you perception of this situation. The situation is ripe now and proof is the number of Arab countries who are assisting or staying out of the way. No half measures, full speed ahead, until the evil regime is gone and the Iranian people are firmly in control.

At the end of the day, the warmongers love the sandbox. 1st Iraq, Afghan, 2nd Iraq, Iran, and the beat keeps going on.
We know we can’t do anything to a real enemy like China so we go play with the toys in the sandbox. Over and over and over. That’s all it is.

It’s a trifecta the way I look at it. Venezuela, Iran and now Cuba is about to bend the knee. All three of these countries are about to be taken off the chess board for China.
If this happens it’s going to cause major damage to the Chinese goals in the not so distant future.
This!
China gets crude from Venezuela and Iran. This will jam them up good. We also don't want them meddling in our hemisphere. These are big steps to put them in their place.

But what I’m hearing from the redditors who have made it a point to infect this site is that the republicans are finished.
Finished they say!

Good OP. The fact that it has a lot of downvotes simply illustrates that a lot of people simply don't get, or don't care, what this is all about.

Well, your not as smart as you believe yourself to be. Others are capable of understanding geopolitical issues.
More importantly, I don't give a single frick about what your opinion is about folks around here. So....
