My son plays bball and he is the only white kid on the team. He is going to be under enormous pressure when the season starts.

Hey man I am so sorry that happened— it sucks. What the soibois who have weighed in with their dumbass comments to you fail to appreciate is there is no immutable law that Sports Must Continue.
Pro sports have gotten a taste of viewer numbers when they are preaching Social Justice (one would think they could learn from NFL post 2016). College football may have the same reaction.
High school football is usually a break-even proposition for schools anyway— they can’t afford to alienate their communities.
