#Dems Losing Public Support In Congressional Races

The report finds:

-9-point drop in support between Biden and the generic Congressional Dem among white suburban women

-6-point drop among independents

-5-point drop with college grads

If Orange is the new Black, does that mean BLM is down with Trump?

Support violence and anarchy - don’t be surprised when the electorate turns on you.

Great news for Trump. His minority support is looking better than 2016 so if he can hold those 2 groups at similar levels of support that he got in 2016 then he wins easily.

Defund police is a losing idea for Dems. Suburban white women are all about safety. You won’t get the Karen vote by pushing to eradicate police departments

They’re not losing ground in the cemeteries. Their base is expanding.

They’re trying to pivot and now claim they’re against the violence and crime that they were cheering for yesterday. Not only corrupt but incredibly stupid people inhabit the democrat party.

31 swing districts lost in 2018 who voted Trump in 2016.

All those wing nuts swearing up and down they would be moderate. Not one kept that promise

Dems are going to have a very hard time holding on to any of those seats. Dems lose the House if they don’t

That would not only be welcomed but would be the biggest shock of the 2020 election.

I felt that the dems would add to their House advantage but if they over played their hand by supporting domestic terrorism then they could be hurt.

Most urban black women are all about safety, too. It’s not a race issue. Blacks hate crime as much as whites. They have to live with it at a higher level than some whites, so they hate it more in some instances.

Defunding police is one of the worst National political strategies ever. It may work in ultra liberal hotspots that were dark blue/navy states anyway, but it won’t work on a national level at all. Dems had a lock on the House and an outside shot at the Senate before. They just created a lot of closer than expected races for the House in November and lost a chance at the Senate

They spent the last five months taking advantage of suburban Karen's tendency to be easily scared. Then they promptly started supporting a bunch of hoodlums and talking about defunding the police. Apparently they completely forgot about Karen

They don’t care. Dems have always been willing to pay the political price to move an agenda. See healthcare. They know they will be back in less than 10 years.

Seriously, how did they think that would be a winning strategy?

I don't think anyone with any power is actually pleased that there's been all this destruction done to big cities, but none of them have the balls to confront the problem to have it stop at "peaceful protesting". Once it goes beyond that they put the blinders on.

I don't even know HOW this becomes a campaign strategy!

This is like a one night stand: seemed like a good idea at the time, but then you gat to deal with the fallout the next morning.

Not really. It's a longtime Dem/media playbook move to show the Dem way ahead early on then have the race "tighten" at the end. Trump has been ahead all along, the Senate has been fairly safe and the House has been up for grabs all along.

They never had ground. The advantage was fake.
