Whose idea was it to rename Lee Circle to “Harmony Circle”?
You going to tell me New Orleans is not socialist?
You going to tell me New Orleans is not socialist?

Yeah I guess Congress changing all the military base names in 2023-2025 makes the majority led Congress all socialist too. fricking idiot

Uh doesn’t he have some significant personal baggage of his own?

Nice whataboutism. Exactly how does that even remotely compare to what is going on in new orleanstan.

Those people are too stupid to have an ideology outside of sex, money, and ghetto behavior.

Lived in the business district from 2020-2023. I have lived in many cities across the nation and I have never seen one so blatantly buy votes. Constantly handling out money for rent, food, free this, and free that, but they couldn't fix the roads downtown, or in front of the million dollar house neighborhood. They only handed out money for votes and it was blatant. They couldn't even spend hundreds of millions of dollars designated for roads and infrastructure. They just waited and the five year time limit ran out. They couldn't steal this federal money so they let it lapse. DEI at its best. Only worried about themselves and how to buy another vote.

People forget Grinning Helena and her goons were running the City Council for over a decade.

Did she ever fix the pumps? Repave every pothole in the city?

Some of the most hateful far left woke liberal lunatics in the country are from New Orleans. They largely don't share the same values and beliefs as normal people do from the South.

Didn’t you say just yesterday that they had all of the money issues sorted?

Sounds like socialism too me!
New Orleans residents say they are fed up with worsening conditions at Joe Brown Park
quote:
Residents said Tuesday that whomever is considered for the role should be committed to fixing NORD’s chronic failings. They said the candidate should also be a local with a firm understanding of New Orleans culture and its people. The agency is accepting applications until Aug. 10. The state of Joe Brown was another big concern of residents on Tuesday. Washington added that there’s a homeless woman living in one of the Read Boulevard park's shelters. “There was algae all over. The homeless woman in Shelter No. 3 told me that the bathroom toilet wasn’t working.”
quote:
The issues plaguing NORD parks and operations have long been a concern among community members. They have also lambasted the department for failing to communicate basic information on its website and other public-facing mediums. Officials shut down Lyons Pool in June for maintenance, for instance, but as of Tuesday NORD’s website showed the pool was still open to the public.

The last time I was in NOLA was 94. There were a lot of memorable things about that trip.
One of them being just how hard so many of those streets were on my tires and shocks.

You cannot debate anything with those people. I told a liberal from N.O. several years ago that Latoya Cantrell was incompetent.
Guy starts cursing at me like I said something about his spouse or parent, etc.
