Not how China operates. If China were to take any action at all, you can guarantee that it would be through a proxy. They prefer to play the long game and financially rot counties through their infrastructure.
They also aren't an ally in the traditional sense, if an action doesn't directly benefit them, you are on your own. They'll simply find another solution.
Now that oil is going to hard to get from Iran, since Canada was stupid enough to partner with them, look for China to start squeezing the hell out of the Canadians for their resources. They'll be putting big pressure on them soon.

Hopefully soon. Let’s get it on.

Exactly. Right now they're providing Intel, some weaponry, and funding protests here in America.

Started an ran a company in China for a few years.
Worked with a lot of oil company staff (government employees, some pretty senior).
Leaving aside the Taiwan issue, I never heard anybody express any desire for China to have a military presence abroad.

Why? They are content to watch us weaken ourselves

I used to worry about the size of China but army size no longer matters. More population just means more deaths with today's technology.

Never, because they don't have that many! Run the numbers. Years of allowing only one child with the majority on those children being male is causing a sharp drop in their population!

The USA would shut off their food supply pronto. Heck, these past two excursions with Venezuela and Iran has removed 18% of China's oil supply.
Of course, POTUS Trump meets with China in a few weeks. Perfect timing.

Wars are about supply chains. Think of what it would take to move and support a 200 million man army.

China’s whole population is about 500 million.
Forced abortions have consequences.
This is actually probably true.
For China to grow exponentially like they have each family in the country would have to have more than 3 kids to replace their parents.
Their one child policy started in 1980.
In that time they claim their population has grown from 987 million in 1980
1.133 billion in 1990
1.267 billion in 2000
1.412 billion in 2020
How do they grow with each family only allowed 1 child?
The policy ended in 2015.
Besides that, since each family was only allow one child, the families overwhelmingly only had males. Female babies were killed.
The country is facing an enormous and catastrophic population crash in the next 20 years.

Cutting off China’s oil supply weakens us? You far left wackos are weird.

China going to sustained land war like Russia would only hasten their demographic cliff.

Yep, something they absolutely can't afford to do.

The fact you think this is even remotely feasible is embarrassing.

A real juicy target at that.

Chine would need oil to do that and Trump is making it very difficult for them to get oil

China wants the natural resources. They don't give a shite about people.
