I’m not sure but did you see an announcement that they won’t ever happen now?

Did you see an announcement that if they didn’t start by a particular date/time that it wasn’t going to ever take place?

We need to be deporting thousands of people a day to make a dent

Trump doesn’t have the stomach to do what it takes to get there

They are still doing mass deportations.. it's just not on the news anymore which means that Trump, Homan, Noem won.

When they stop skyscreaming about things it means they are defeated about what they were sky screaming about

Yes. A lot of young people with useless degrees and expensive loans to play that can’t find jobs.

We need a 10 year moratorium on immigration that’s not incredibly specialized but even then I hesitate to add that caveat. We have plenty of people.

I heard Mike Johnson and others tell Republican congressman at the Republican policy retreat in Miami this week that we are going to quit running on mass deportations and “correct course” on it because it’s unpopular

It’s ALL about the Midterms now. Albeit there are still non public deportations happening but the big stuff can’t because of what we saw in Minneapolis. Street warfare with the MSM and Locals going berserk. These Leftists are rabidly ideologically DEI delusional like the Mullahs but with zero rationality. They will never go peacefully.

We’ve spilled a tenth of the blood in Iran that the Mullahs did of their own and yet a lot of the Republicans are going wobbly already a week and a half in. Bloodshed in our streets is a quick way to lose the Midterms.

We are close to open rebellion in our own country. People on both sides have had it. Another unverifiable election might be the final straw.

This isn’t true. Well I guess it depends what your opinion on popular is. Is 60% popular? That’s a pretty high number in US politics and where you’ll find the mostly agree agree and neutral fall.

Honestly just wondering, because I was more excited for that than regime change wars in the Middle East. Have we deported as many as Obama did in his first year yet?

Obama fudged his numbers, he counted people who were turned back at the border as deportations. Under Trump over 700,000 were deported during the last year, and another 1.9 million self deported due to the pressure placed on them. You can judge his success by the amount of squealing from the Democrats.

I think he made a dent just by stopping the bleeding, so to speak, by closing the border. There’s really no way to send them all to the exits as fast as they came in. Needs to be a sustained effort for the rest of this administration, then we need to keep the White House in 2028 and continue the process.

So let's say that 350K a year (generous).

just think what it would be if the democrats weren't hindering ICE and liberal federal judges weren't bending over backwards to prevent deportations....I don't remember that happening under Obama.

Ummm, what? I'm just asking to be clear. What exactly do you mean by this? You want Trump to start shooting illegals on sight?

Biden let in 10 million.

The math ain't working.

But, the math works in more ways. They are also self-deporting and the numbers coming in are significantly dropped. The net is going in the right direction.

Do you think second generation illegals pick strawberries? No. They learn how the welfare system works and become leeches. Why do you think we had to start bringing in Guatemalans and Hondurans? Hint: we needed folks for jobs that 2nd generation Mexicans would no longer do.

No - but removing millions of people from the country in a couple years would mean a lot of pain and suffering. I don’t like it, but it needs to be done.

As of early 2026, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) reports high, record-setting enforcement, with claims of over 700,000 formal removals (deportations) and over 2 million self-deportations occurring between January 2025 and early 2026. The administration has heavily expanded ICE air operations, conducting over 2,200 deportation flights to 79 countries in its first year.

Considering that getting them out because of democrats interference throughout the legal process because OMB is say almost 3 million people is pretty good. I’d rather see 20 million gone already along with some immigrant politicians and their ilk but the democrats have created a mess

Do you even know how many people are being deported daily? I don’t but I’m not the one that made the thread. I also know just because it’s for once not dominating the news 24/7 hostile actors can’t use it for propaganda as long as Iran endures

Cope. If it was going well, Trump would be letting us know. I think he has given up on it.
Just wants to deport violent criminals now.
