Even black people know this is crazy.

The world isn't perfect so maybe....hmm...let's give chaos a try!

This is easy to see how this will work. Crime will go down because it will go unreported. Meanwhile the bodies pile up and chaos ensues. That's liberal logic.

Programs about the evil white man. Meanwhile they are being killed by their own.

....can only imagine the mess that'll cause. Doesn't effect me. As long as they keep those fricking liberal New Yorkers up there. They voted this commie in power let them deal with the consequences.

Ah, the good old days when Dinkins was mayor and the murder rate was 30/100,000! Comrade de Blasio wants NYC to be a lot more like Baltimore or maybe Venezuela.

BS. The Feral Government of the United States is wholly dependent upon a militarized police apparatus to enforce it’s massive regulatory state. The communities that will be most effected by these efforts are themselves wholly dependent upon the Welfare State for their existence. This will end up being just another massive wealth transfer scheme being touted as “police reform.”

When are “leaders” going to preach the truth that kids from 2 parent homes have a greater percentage of success than those abandoned by their fathers and raised by single mothers. This is true in any case but the percentages of single parents in the black community is exponentially higher.

Let’s talk about the actual problem and help solve it.

It won't take long for businesses to relocate to areas with a normal functioning police force. The consumers will relocate to safety. There is only so much burglary and armed robbery you can withstand and still be successful. Then, the tax revenue will flow away from those cities. It's a downward spiral.

NYPD should show their appreciation and go on strike. No police on the streets. Let chaos rule

Can they do this after I go watch LSU play Syracuse at MSG in December?

Thanks

Giuliani brought NYC back from the brink of collapse by restoring a functional criminal justice system and make the streets safe again. Tourism and business flocked back. Comrade de Blasio is doing the opposite.

I haven’t kept up with this that much. Is the plan to dissolve the NYPD entirely? Or is this a cutback? And what’s the plan after that?

1970s and 1980s New York City: Cesspool of crime. Homelessness and poverty abound. Gangs. National reputation for being dangerous. Terrible place to live.

1990s and early 2000s New York City: Tough as nails mayor who empowers NYPD. Stop and frisk. Active relocation of the homeless and extremely tough policy on crime. Strong investments into law and order and sweeping out the riff raff.

2000s and 2010s New York City: Subsequent skyrocketing of city value. Manhattan is overwhelmingly rich and an envy of the world. Considered a unique and good place to live if you can afford it. Culture, restaurants, art, music - all thrive. Brooklyn is gentrified and becomes one of the most expensive places to live in the country. Crime falls at an impressive rate. Murders and muggings basically drop off the radar for being in New York City.

2020s: Defund and abolish the police.

Let's see what happens, captain.
