Meh, Cruz won’t get a lot of support in Houston or any of the other big cities. He will still win handily.

It’s not fear of physical confrontation, it’s fear of nighttime vandalism by unhinged SJWs. It’s not unfounded, it’s very logical. I live in one of the best neighborhoods in Austin - not a house under $600,000 - and I won’t put up a Cruz or any other Republican sign. It’s not being a “pussy”; it’s being smart about avoiding property damage. You clearly don’t understand these people. They feel totally justified and even heroic for destroying the property of Republicans.

I sent my oldest son to St Thomas HS with Grant Delpit and Jhamon Ausbon, until they transferred to IMG. Grant had an unfortunate issue with his father, LOL
Also, STH was real big on scholarships for kids that could qualify but needed assistance! So they had a decent Hispanic population as well.

Yep. It’s a sad irony. They ruined their home states by voting for crazy liberal nonsense, but they didn’t connect the dots - all they know is they can’t get a job or afford the place they’re from - so they move to Texas and vote the same way that got them where they were in their home state. Luckily, there are still enough red-blooded Americans left here to counterbalance them for at least another couple of cycles.

I recall that some of the more vocal opponents of school busing were whites who vocally supported school integration in Texas in the mid to late 60s. That was a step too far for them.
