I have taught my children right. If you want it, work for it.

Mrs. Zwin put herself through 5 years of Baylor (bachelors and masters). Didn’t get a dime from her parents and we paid it off a few years after getting married.

Did she do this wrong?

ETA: Besides, you’re already paying for my other boy’s degree. :). Thanks.

All that money went to waste if you don’t know the difference between leach and leech.

Could be referring to a certain Pirate that he also considers a less-than-desirable role model.

I’m just saying…

I would take it. What are you gaining by turning it down? I would not cost myself $10,000 just to prove a political point.

One of my boys has about $8K in loans, and I am a co-signer.

I hate the program, but $8K is $8K.

What y’all thinking?

First off it's not "Forgiveness"

It's shifting the responsibility onto someone else.

You're a POS if you can pay your bill but choose not to.

THAT'S "rich."

As a tax-paying citizen, I'm on the receiving end of that shift, why am I a piece of shite for getting some of it back? Your logic is comically bad

Follow your own value system.

I am not taking a dime from anyone. What I have is mine because I earned it on my own.

How is her taking the loan to put herself through, working her arse off while in school and missing out on almost all the fun stuff, and then us paying it all back with interest not “earning it on her own”?

I'll ask you the same questions I asked Flat Earth guy. I assume you don't take any deductions on your taxes or cash any stimmy or relief checks

Democrats buying votes right before the midterms. A take as old as time.

No.

Being unwilling to pay debt that you incurred is.

This is a dumb scenario. Almost as dumb as the hiring illegal worker argument. If you deny yourself (which liberal politicians hope you do) only progressives reap the rewards for gaming the system.

It's 100% horseshite. But if they are giving out other people's tax money, take it. Anything left over will go for other liberal causes. It's ridiculous.
