You maximize the amount of "your" money you get back. Taking advantage of this assuming it becomes law is no different. You can not like it, and I will agree with you. But you can get fricked if you want to call everyone that takes this money bad or financial dummies or another negative term. That money is going out regardless of my feelings on it. Only a moron would not take it.

Take the money and donate it to conservative PACs and political candidates you trust to fight this nonsense and then make a public spectacle of what you are doing and encourage other like-minded conservatives/populists to do the same.

Start a movement that Democrat vote buying will be used to help fund their destruction. Oh, and remind half their base (poor people who never went to college) that they are getting screwed over more than anyone.

How does that make him "unwilling" to pay? That was the word you chose.

Take what? I went to a trade school and became an electrician. Tuition, books, and tools cost me maybe $1500 in '99. In 2003, I paid ~$3500 and went to a private Fire/EMS Academy and became a FF/EMT. Now, 20 years later, I own an electrical contracting business with offices across Texas, with multiple sources of income from two separate careers simultaneously. My wife paid for her own degrees and is a high school teacher.

Our first baby is due any day now. Should we even bother saving up for her to get an education? Just tell her Aviator Joe has it taken care of? Can't do that because even with my blue-collar "dirty jobs" and a teacher's salary, we're over the income limit. This handout bullshite needs to stop. I have my own family to pay for. frick off and take care of your own damn self.

I agree there is no difference, so what is your problem with someone taking this again?

If that is your set of values, take it.

I refuse.

The fact is consistent. It does not change.

It is my money. I am not "taking" anything that already belongs to me.

So carrying your logic further, there can never be any changes to the tax code? Or would you not take advantage of any changes that put more money in your pocket?

And why will you not directly answer my questions? IS it because you know you're full of shite?

So you do take handouts when it suits you, but you bitch and moan when you don't qualify.
