Drew did NOTHING wrong other than have an opinion that was contrary to the prevailing SJW/Woke opinion championed by the media. Since this was likely going to be his last season anyway, he had the perfect opportunity to stand up to the cancel culture crowd who wanted to persecute him for doing nothing more than having the "wrong" opinion. He is THE face of an otherwise historically terrible franchise. Saints fans weren't going to "cancel" Drew over his comments. Likewise, his teammates weren't going to be able to because Drew was THE most important player on the team. But if he did get "canceled", who would give a shite? This was the last year of his career anyway.
Instead, he was a coward. He tearfully apologized...repeatedly...for doing nothing wrong and continuously capitulates in promoting the complete bullshite that is BLM and it's cast of bad actors who get deceitfully depicted as "heroes".
Going into the season I was excited for one last shot at glory. Now, I don't give a shite if the Saints go 1-15 and Drew looks terrible on his way out. He brought it all upon himself by being a coward

He’s actually the worst kind of “Christian”. In the New Testament, Paul warned real Christians not to associate with those that claimed to be Christians but lived secular lives. God also said he spit lukewarm Christians from His mouth.
Drew has got to come to grips with his egregious mistake and recant.

What a shame... Such a great career.. and to be tarnished because his last year he will always remember to be a sell out... There is a lot of good people that are disappointed...

It's why I haven't watched a Saints game...and won't, until a full apology is offered. Might accept. Brees is gone anyway; so is his broadcasting career. It's fixing to hit the fan; he picked the wrong horse...but likely for the 'right' reason. "Behold, there is a way that SEEMETH right unto man, but the end thereof is destruction".

Brees. It's a good thing he never went into the military. He folds faster than superman on laundry day.
To make matters worse...he is already at the end of his career. So it's not like he is a young buck just coming into the NFL and needs to play along in order to keep his job. He submitted, changed every opinion he once had...just because people said mean things to him.
