no they didn't. They kept a seat that was already DEM. The only people that are anti-doge is the extreme, brainwashed, progressives. Who the hell in their right mind would be against stopping politicians from continuing to get rich with tax payer dollars...stealing from us with kickbacks....except for mentally ill people like youself.

Exactly.

That seat was attempted "get" by the Republicans and a "hold" by the Dems.

Yet

You'd think the GOP just completely shite the bed.

It is about voter turnout which favors democrats.

why is that though? Democrats are much lazier than Republicans. We all know the answer. The Dems vote even when they don't physically go to the polls or do mail in ballots themselves. After Trump won, all the other senate and house races, which were led mostly by republicans, all ended up going Democrat. It is almost like the watch parties that we had in the field quit watching after he had secured the election. That disappoints me a lot. There is no doubt that all these races that carried on for weeks after the election, where the dems overcame a deficit and won in very close races in the end....ALL of them. It is still happening.

I live in the FL market. Democrats threw so much money into these elections (hourly ads on every TV/Social media/radio market). The Republicans barely advertised. They didn’t need to spend the money.

Basically the Republicans let them show their hand for 2026. Brilliant really.

Wisconsin was the same. Again, now Republican leadership know their branding strategy moving forward. Michigan (and maybe Pennsylvania) can use this moving forward.

Don’t listen to the talking heads. Democratic leaders are already feeding them lines to say.

This isn’t a referendum on Trump. People don’t change opinion that quickly. I think it was taking a loss in a hard to win state and not spending money in Florida. This is all about learning what to do for 2026.

Yep I’m in the panhandle and the lib advertising was annoying as frick.

I had something come up at work and never made it to vote, my wife didn’t either. Patronis was basically a guarantee.

Special elections like this where one side is basically a shoe in is not something to strongly consider as the current trend.

I agree. I also live in the district, I do not recall seeing a single Patronis ad, and Valimont was constantly on TV. If not a commercial, then the press was talking about how much money she raised. Incidentally, she raised $6.5 million vs Patronis raising around $2 million.
I think the fact that she lives in the district kind of skewed the numbers too, because it became a talking point that Patronis does not live in the district. Nonetheless, the Republicans still won pretty handily despite a relatively low effort campaign.

So to be clear, you’re for government wasting and not tracking tax dollar spending?

i voted for Patronis but he wasn't very inspiring candidate. I did not vote for him in the Special Election Primary.

The ads that I saw spoke only of his endorsement by Trump so he just comes across as a Trump "yes man".

Escambia county is heavily influenced by Pensacola which tends Democrat. And the Dems spent serious money to take it.

What's the point of coming to The USA as a student to fight Israel? Pick up a weapon. Go to "Palestine". Fight Israel there.

Democrats are regrouping and focusing on cuts to health care, etc.

If they can get away from their idiotic race and gender pandering, they;ll start rolling toward 2026.

Trump needs to better communicate what the frick he has in mind, because everyone is confused and uncertain right now. JD Vance is too good a candidate to waste in 2028, Republicans need to start the PR machine now.

Just think….. he wants to allow in uneducated and violent illegals with no limit, wants criminal illegals to stay in the US, wants to give Stacy Abrams billions for her “”nonprofit””, wants to pay 50k plus to take care of plants in a building, and is perfectly ok with young girls being killed and raped by illegals.

Why? Cause he is instructed to. Simply just told to. How pathetic is that?

Wisconsin made voter ID an amendment. If you don't think that will hurt future dem turnout, I don't know what to say.
