I’ve already adopted two. Is that all you got? My youngest was placed because his birth mom had an abortion just before. It nearly destroyed her, yet she didn’t have enough self control to prevent it again. I thank God she made that choice. He’s now being raised in a two parent Christian household and has yet to make a B. That’s how you turn the country around.

Why do the only options liberals allow on this issue involve other people making up for their mistakes? Abortion, adoption, childcare subsidies, etc. all involve other people helping you out of your situation.
Instead of "why dont people adopt more kids", how about "why don't people stop having so many unwanted pregnancies"? 80% of unwanted pregnancies among unmarried women are due to failing to use contraception or failing to use it correctly.

My brother had to go to Bolivia to adopt due to the time and expense of U.S. adoptions. Great kid, married now, productive and has a son of his own.

Hey fricknuts. Reading is your friend. Abortion was not outlawed Nation wide. Women can still abort in most states. Now the trash that wants to put fetuses in a blender must work to get their state govt to allow it as the legislative process was designed through voting on a state level

There’s approximately one child for every 34 families looking to adopt. Why do you think there are so many foreign babies adopted in the us?

I did. My daughter was born to a single mom, no idea who the father was, she was a petty criminal and drug addict (crystal Methodist). She was in care from birth to 2 years old. She was placed with us at 2(we were foster parents) and we adopted her at 5 years old.
My wife aged out of foster care. Her “mom”(last foster parent) has adopted 12 kids and helped 106 via foster care. Her oldest daughter adopted 3 and helped 12 via foster care. My wife and I have fostered dozens over the years. Black, white, brown, male, female, all have passed through our homes.
So yes, we adopt/foster kids. Most newborns are adopted by 6 months. Most kids in care are not orphaned, most have shitty parents that do just enough on a case plan to keep parental rights by getting clean once every 3 to 6 months and dragging out the process.
For instance, in Tennessee right now there is 1 child under 5 that is adoptable. 28 from 5-12, 13-18 has around 100. 13-18 is the hardest ages to adopt. And the youngest in system available to be adopted is 4.
