there were lots of unintended consequences
I submit that the consequences were not 'unintended' but only 'unreported'
The consequences were well-known to everyone who cared - the GOP outlined in very specific terms the disaster that would befall the health care industry in this abortion was allowed to live.
And every warning the GOP put forth actually occurred = despite the extreme measures Obama did in trying to salvage that pice of shite legislation.
Dont try to pretend that the ACA was anything other than a blatant tactic to undermine the American Healthcare Industry - and put the whole thing under total government control = single payer, the holy grail of socialists everywhere.

If you don't think there are going to be unintended consequences and massive loopholes in this tax bill, you're being willfully ignorant.
What sort of loophole? For who? Where would they be located? Do you have any idea or are you just speculating there could be loopholes for someone?

These are questions that are better answered when a bill is put through legislative scrutiny, something that hasn't really happened with this bill. I haven't had the time to scrutinize it, so I can't answer.

The part where taxes are cut and the economy booms
OP walked right into that one.
The funny and ironic part of the OPs post is that the simplification of the tax code is still something that conservatives want. But, the obstructionist democrats simply would/will not go along with that. If there were 10 reasonable democrats in the senate, true reform could happen.
Instead, the dems think it's better for them to oppose, and then point at the remaining problems with the tax code and try and make a political point.

The economy has been doing great for over half a decade now. Quit with the lie this bill is about the economy.

Then why did you make your original statement about loopholes?
Because I believe that to be the biggest concern with this bill. It hasn't been fully vetted. It's barely been vetted at all, and we're being asked to just look the other way for some modest tax savings. Sorry, I ain't buying.
I am all for some major tax reform, including a cut in the corporate tax rate. I'm more in favor of some transparency in how that reform comes about. I don't even care if they want to use the reconciliation process. Have the balls to debate and defend your bill on the floor if you're so confident in it.

The 21% corporate tax is my favorite.
I have an llc that made a lump this year...I have to K1 myself funds from there.....
2 questions..
Will this bill be in effect for 2017 tax returns?
Will the K1 money I claim on my personal 2017 tax year returns, what will I be taxed? That damn 15% self employment is a killer..
Just trying to figure how to approach with my llcs...I have one S corp and one Ccorp

That simply is not true.
Economic growth has been stagnant. 3% growth was never achieved during the OBAMA presidency.
Considering that he pumped an extra 10 Trillion in to the economy we should have seen some decent growth but we didn't.

Laugh all you want. The economy has seen a steady improvement in every measurable category since it bottomed out in 2009. Facts are fickle things.
If you aren't doing as well personally it's probably your fault, not the economy as a whole.

GDP Growth Slows to 1.9 Percent in Obama's Final Days
The U.S. economy grew at a 1.9 percent clip during the final three months in which former President Barack Obama's was in the White House, according to a report published Friday by the Bureau of Economic Analysis.
Gross domestic product growth in October, November and December slowed from the third quarter's 3.5 percent rate of expansion and was notably softer than what analysts anticipated.
