I never denied that the guy ran because Trump was there. Either it was the appearance of the limo stopping or he got out and told him to stop. Two different accounts, hence why it says unproven.

There was an eye witness who said that the baseball bat guy was already leaving when Trump got out of his limo.
Five or six whacks with a baseball bat, treated by a doctor at the scene, and an ambulance on the way.
But the incident was not reported to the police.
Whaddda you think? Sounds unproven to me.

This is the better question. Snopes' selection of what to dive into is probably far more biased than the underlying analysis.
Usually, the explanation from Snopes is fair, although occasionally stretched. Here's where they exhibit bias, IMO
1) Story selection, as noted above. Deep diving into dumb stories on the right, ignoring similar claims from the left that could probably be debunked or get mixed findings.
2) Mixing claims in order to avoid straight admissions/denials. Vince foster died the day after Clinton fired Sessions. That's true. But they don't want to admit it, so they doctor up the claim to be "Sessions firing before Foster's death - suspicious?" so they can admit the timing but deny the vague "suspicious" aspect.

Wrong. Here is a Forbes article laying out exactly why Snopes is rightfully called into question constantly for being misleading.
Trump could say, "The sky is blue.", and Snopes would come back and go, "MOSTLY FALSE - the sky is sometimes black and sometimes gray and sometimes white."

Snopes has been proven to be a leftist rag and not credible. Sure they debunk the obvious, but have been know to redefine the meaning of "is" when it comes to someone like Obama, Sanders, or Clinton.
