Snopes makes Pravda look good..re Trump mugging

So even though there are news articles from the date carrying the “Trump stops mugging story” Snopes makes the bold claim that this is “unproven”

The article states the only report of the incident has 2 conflicting witness statements and it's impossible to say which one is right almost 30 years later.
One witness says the mugger ran off before Trump got there, one says he ran him off. You're deciding to believe the one that fits your narrative.
Not everything that doesn't go your way is liberal propaganda.

I mean, assuming this is the "true" account, it seems he still would have basically been deemed to have "stopped the mugging."
