I'm not a fan of Zelensky but I don't hold it against him that he's playing for the best deal he can get. Trump will still get his deal.
He’s already gotten the best deal he could get. He got hundreds of billions from frickhead Biden. He should be happy that we are even trying to negotiate to help him more,

If that dude doesn’t get glassed in 2025 it’ll be a miracle

Who the hell is advising this guy because it's been all bad where Trump is concerned.
Probably the Euro leaders.

We need to let them fight their own war and stay out of it. Those minerals aren’t worth a war.
We’re lucky Putin hasn’t done anything to us already.

I think this is the 2nd time Zelensky has lied to Trump and tried to make him look like a fool. Last night they claimed a deal was hours away from being signed. Now today it's being reported they are not even close. Zelensky seems to be playing games. Maybe he is negotiating a deal with Europe and just stalling with us
This is because the deals are so unserious by Trump.
The deals make loan sharks look like choir boys, and go laughably beyond what we’ve ever given them, so again Zelenskyy isn’t going to sign them.

What you guys don’t understand somehow is Putin wouldn’t do a damn thing to us. He’s a dictator who loves power and money, and starting a war against us will end that in the blink of an eye. That’s why they’ve drawn so many redlines that we’ve crossed with providing aid and all they’ve done is held their dick in their hand.
It’s the same reason that NK hasn’t started a war, as that would be the end of the Kim rule.

We’ve got some real knowledgeable
Diplomats on this site. They’ve managed to allow themselves to be persuaded that Zelensky is an autocratic nazi and that Putin is an admirable statesman. fricking absurdity upon absurdity with a complete lack of awareness of world history and politics.

How many billions have we given Z after his begging and pleading, and now he acts like we’re trying to pull a fast one on him?
Posted on 2/22/25 at 11:32 am to John Barron
I am so over Zelensky and this war. I’d give him 24 hours (honestly not even that long should be needed) to the deal on the table or we will pull out completely and let Putin take over the country.

Changing terms after the fact is pretty shady, and I cannot stand the Z man.
For future terms, nothing should be off limits.

The general opinion here is that Zelensky is an unelected dictator who supports the Nazi elements in his country and he doesn't care that his people and country are being slaughtered and destroyed for nothing. They've never had any chance to "win".
The opinion of Putin hasn't been he's admirable, but that he wasn't unprovoked and not the boogie man the neocon Marxist tell us we must believe he is.

Meh, he's obviously a good negotiator and knows not to take the first draft, no matter how many clowns pressure you.
This is normal and NO DOUBT Trump expected the move

Exactly. He's dumber than I thought if he believes the EU will replace or match anything close to what the US has already provided.
If not for the Ukranian people suffering due to this corrupt dictators actions, I'd say Trump should remove himself and leave it alone, but if Trump can help stop the killing by helping coordinate a resolution that doesn't involve American money or lives, he should keep trying to work on a peace deal.
