Amending the constitution is a pipe dream.

This was always the way. The wording of the actual law gave far too much to those who would gleefully play linguistic gymnastics with it.

If people seriously want this issue addressed, they need to hammer the frick out of their members of Congress at every townhall, restaurant, gas station, grocery store, airport, etc. until it's passed by both chambers and sent to the states.

They don't want it, as they share the Democrats thoughts on immigration and fought Trump in 2017 on immigration and the wall.

They could pass it in a minute and fully take on the democrats. They want Speaker Hakeem to impeach Trump. There is no 3D plan, don't waste time thinking there is. Trump is surrounded.

I wonder how much of this can be dealt with at the state level by delineating who is eligible to vote in state elections because Congress isn’t going to do anything and an amendment is a pipe dream.
