There is always a crime/human interest story in the zeitgeist.
Whether it’s a grandma being kidnapped, a kid stuck in a well, a college student being killed or a missing child.
It this old lady wasn’t in the news, it would be someone else.
There’s been 100 threads wondering why we are wasting time on this one old lady.
It’s because there has to be something on the news. If it wasn’t this it would be something else just as inconsequential.
Whether it’s a grandma being kidnapped, a kid stuck in a well, a college student being killed or a missing child.

Yea .. it was a great game. We were down 2 going into the last inning and came back and won... It was a very exciting game and it's a damn shame that you had to miss it. Perhaps you can catch another game down the road? I'll send you the app we use so you can follow the game and team all season. The app keeps up with stats and stuff and it's really really cool. You will love the app!

I don’t get it. Guthrie is at-best, what a “C” level celebrity? I have heard her name before a time or two, but out of 100 women, I couldn’t finger her as the real one.

Talking about board games at happy hour last night and I mentioned that I’m undefeated at Clue at my house. I said the detectives working the missing talk show host’s mom case should give me a call because I can solve a murder. I didn’t know the lady’s name so we ended up just talking about how much we all love Hoda Kotb. Five women and two men. No one knew any details about this situation.
