As a boomer, the system's put in place by boomers were designed for everybody to be a functioning, contributing citizen. Since the Boomer population, we have allowed almost 50% of the population to simply suck at the tit. Every Boomer I know had a job went to work everyday rather than lie around drawing welfare section 8 EBT etc. Quit blaming boomers. No Boomer I know is a parasite to the system and that's our biggest problem today.

Do me a favor and write ”final instructions” to have your accounts cashed out in $100 bills, to be used to insulate your coffin.

All boomers should do this as a giant finger to the whiners.

It's funny you say that as I was sitting here reading some of these threads ranting on boomers. I think I'm going to take the path where the last check I write before I die bounces. frick everybody but me.

lol, Boomers were the most reckless and soft generation of all time. Instead of accepting responsibility for your reckless fiscal and social policies, you bailed yourselves out in 2008, then proceeded to pump trillions of printed dollars into the stock market to inflate your 401Ks. Yall literally shut down everyone's life for 2 years because yall were afraid of a glorified Cold virus.

Because of Boomers, we will never have a real economy again because our currency was raped to pay for all your bailouts and social programs

*I looked it up....the Boomer dominated federal government has added 15.4 Trillion dollars to the US money supply since they bailed themselves out with TARP in 2008

I am waiting on seeing what happens to NYC when the second home tax drives the wealthy out to better pastures.

That's what pisses me off so much about "boomers are the devil". We spent a bunch of money years ago to protect our assets so if we were to go at the same time in an accident or something, things would be managed and avoiding probate, we did the trust. One goes before the other, then we have instructions as to what happens and we have advanced directives. I hate where we are. One of my three is pretty liberal. One claims to be libertarian but I'm not sure where he stands in all of this. Youngest fights with the oldest all the time because he is conservative. So, I'm not really leaving because unwinding all of this shite I have would take more energy than I have right now.

You really don't know much about any of this do you? You know there has always been a max on income deductions so get to a $10k/month impossible. If you lived to be be 150 with CPI you might hit $5,000.

Oh, and my SS check is my play money each month

99% of Boomers were just people working their asses off, trying to pay their bills, and hoping they didn't lose their job.

My first real job in 1972, I made $1.88 per hour and that was with a $0.15 uniform allowance. Guess what? I worked my arse off and worked full time through college and have a Master's Degree. These assholes piss me off.

I couldn't wait to get my draft card. You needed it back then to buy beer. I don't remember what girls did. Maybe that is why it was so easy to get a date or get..... you know!
