Since Communists are taking over our country

it has been posted here ad infinitum. pay attention. there are a string of options not all are good. but politicians have sold us out and here we are.

I just hope any true democrat with an ounce of common sense realizes that his biggest battle isn't with republicans... the battle is cleaning up their own party. Else they will fail to have a party. At least not one they can align with.

What's most amazing in these recent elections are the incumbents who were defeated. All were very far left. That isn't good enough anymore. You have to be batshit crazy and socialist nowadays.

It affects the rest of us. Or it will eventually affect the rest of us, because 75% of democrats will absolutely vote for a socialist before they'd vote for anyone associated with Trump. Another 20% or so will just stay home. And only the small remaining percent will hold their nose and vote the other ticket simply to avoid socialism.

Simple: stop being emotional and shift to being rational and just let it fail. We all know it will fail and turn off voters. This isn't the first time things like this have happened in coastal, urban areas.

A rational person will understand any attempt to regulate or thwart the democratic aspects of our system to stop your out-group can/will be used to stop your in-group. How can a movement based in populism survive a scaling back of the democratic nature of our political system?

Press our congressmen to pass the SAA. When successful it'll go a long way in stemming the tide. Having said that, many calls to Thune haven't moved the needle yet.
