All the seats shown, where the most black people are, are over +20 R. The current configuration must be really bent.

I don’t think people realize what is about to happen. What we are witnessing is the systematic dismantling of the democrat machine. Illegal immigration, birthright citizenship, counting illegals in the census, and race based gerrymandering have been the 4 pillars keeping them in power.
Illegal immigration into blue states provides the extra bodies in the census needed to steal seats via apportionment. Their anchor babies provide millions of future democrat voters via birthright citizenship. Racial gerrymandering has allowed them to draw republican representation clean off the map.
The border has been closed and deportations are happening. Racial gerrymandering is now illegal. Birthright citizenship is now before the court and I believe the census question is making its way through as well. If BRC goes our way, it’s over for Dems. They have no where to turn to find votes.

It’s not. It’s compact over the city of Memphis which is undeniably democratic.
These new seats take a similar approach to what they did in Nashville before 2024 where the city is “cracked” whereas before Memphis was “packed”.
These new seats are inarguably more “bent” because they take a small tail and capture part of Memphis then dilute it with more rural areas.
Not trying to justify one over the other but it is laughable to consider the current layout as “bent”. Now Louisianas democratic districts for sure are to achieve that outcome.

The problem with dismantling a machine is it can be rebuilt with time. I want these sons of bitches to have to start completely over from birth and work their way back for the next 100 years. Then I’ll sleep better at night.

For now. The rising costs of college education due to subsidized loans is a major culprit and is unsustainable. It will collapse at some point.
