The Small Business Administration Drops HAMMER on Somali Fraud, Cuts Off All Minnesota
SBA Administrator Kelly Loeffler tells me she is “disgusted and sickened” by Nick Shirley’s expose of Somali small business fraud and is taking immediate action. SBA is cutting off and clawing back ALL SBA grants to Minnesota, effective immediately.
She says this is due to Tim Walz refusal to enforce laws governing small businesses and the Governors allowance and facilitation of fraud.
Loeffler tells me that SBA was able to uncover half a billion dollars of fraud “within days” of investigating Minnesota.
She notes the Trump administration will focus on the “state officials” who built an “industrial-scale crime ring to rip off hardworking Americans.”
“The scope of this international scam is still unknown, likely in the billions. Pending further review, SBA is freezing all grant funding to the state in order to stop the rampant waste of taxpayer dollars and uncover the full depth of fraud,”

If I were in Minnesota this is when I’d be placing cameras right outside each business to watch them scurry and see the reaction as the money faucet is turned off.

The Nick Shirley video just hit a handful of days ago. Trump can't unilaterally take over the state or swoop in personally and arrest Tim Walz.
I'm with you on this whole situation being bullshite. But we have to give it more than 4 or 5 days to get this one resolved.
It seems like they are trying to take initial steps through the FBI, SBA and by turning in-state backlash from MN residents against Walz.

I totally agree. The whole situation is infuriating. I'm just speaking about where things are at right now going forward because we can't erase the total horseshite of their already completed fraud.

Federally, they should suspend every penny until an audit and plan for correction and remediation is submitted by the state.

An investigation was started over a year ago and has had around 80 arrests already, but that doesn't get people worked up.
You only found out about the fraud last week, but you are already asking why no arrests have been made. Do you think the FBI should just arrest people based on news stories you heard about 2 days ago without due diligence?
You've clearly never worked for a large organization or handled any type of project management. It takes more than a week just to see which resources are available. You also don't pull an investigator off a child trafficking case to investigate fraud. You find people with availability. If they don't have it, then you have to shift projects around. You don't abandon a project in progress just because a new project comes up. The new project has to be worked around existing projects.
Expecting the FBI to investigate, prosecute, and convict massive fraud in swing states in only a few months is unreasonable.
You people sat on your arse while the democrats and GOPe dragged this country down for decades, but now you want to fight the people trying to clean up the mess for not doing it fast enough.
Like many others, you'll probably get pissed, not vote, and allow the democrats to regain power without the slightest awareness that the problems you bitch about will all be exacerbated under the democrats.
