Thank goodness they weren't "assault rifles".

No. This is a place of learned professionals who gather to discuss pressing issues over brandy and scones…

Would make an interesting TV series, kind if like, "Get Smart" except instead of a bungling detective, it's a weekly Democrat operative failing, in the most hilarious ways, writing goofy, 'orange man bad' manifestos.

Yep, that's the bottom line. They're delusional.

This guy's an embarrassment. He doesn't even have any badass guns. All cheap junk.

how'd he buy a gun in Commiefornia?

He didn't. They had them waiting for him in his hotel room.

So if it were an Armscor 38 Super, I'm going with 1911 platform. 38 Super is actually a pretty decent round, but my guess is he either had a 9mm barrel, or was just running 9mm through it.

Mexicans like them also.
For lots of countries, it was illegal to own a firearm in "military" chamberings. 38 Super was the classic workaround, as it has similar ballistics to 9x19, but isn't the same round. That's why the Mexicans and lots of South Americans liked it

A 38? What a loser
He would be more dangerous just throwing the gun at someone.

The fact that he took the train is interesting. That’s got to be a 5 day trip via AmTrack.

That strikes me as being kind of dumb unless he wanted to spray the place outside of where he could get to the President.

I'm a little surprised the Somalis don't fund a zerg rush.

DOJ announced today that it was actually a Rock Island 1911 in .38 Super ... which some of us had guessed in another thread.

I owned a Crown 1911 in 38 Super one time. Helluva pistol and a solid caliber before 9mm (.355) took over that midrange market.

Fwiw ... two low end firearms. He must have been on a budget. A budget assassin.

You’d think a person on a suicide mission would have the sense to rack up some massive credit card debt on high-end equipment first. We’re lucky these would be assassins aren't particularly bright, though if they had any real brains, they wouldn't be attempting such a brainless stunt in the first place.
