According to Fox59 in Indiana
Carrier was supposed to move its operation to Mexico laying off more than 1000 workers.
The deal Trump struck with Carrier was a $7 mill in tax breaks and required Carrier to keep 1,069 in Indianapolis but hundreds would still be laid off.

Look people losing their jobs absolutely sucks but if you can't see the sunlight in the fact that some jobs were kept from this then you are just hating on trump just to hate him.

This thread is two months old. And as was mentioned to the retard OP back then, these cuts were announced when Trump helped make the deal to keep them here.
And he (a want) even celebrated the layoffs back in December.

Did Carrier keep more jobs in Indiana after meeting with Trump than they had planned to prior to meeting with him? If he saved only one job, that would be one job more than Obama saved. Obama just gave up, said nothing could be done, and didn't even try. Trump at least puts in the effort.

It was known then that Carrier was moving jobs to Mexico, Trump and Pence DID intervene though and convince Carrier to leave about 600 jobs that were also slated to go to Mexico in Indiana. Meaning they DID save 600 American jobs.
I imagine he wishes Carrier would have left all the jobs in Indiana, but 600 is not a broken promise.
